making progress on self-examination, revelation.

should be studying, but technology sucks.

oh, the show went well this saturday. the other guitar player, josh, kept rolling around on the floor, unplugging my guitar's effects pedals at least once in the process. at first i was irritated, but then i thought about the pictures you see of legendary bands. didn't nirvana routinely destroy everything? didn't i just see a picture of guy picciotto (of fugazi) in the midst of falling onto his head? didn't i once see johnny rotten (or was it sid vicious?) bleeding all over?

i don't know if we'll be famous, and really i'd rather not think about it, because i'm kind of superstitious that talking about fame will cause it not to happen.

what i'm saying, though, is that people don't come to concerts (or shows, as i like to call them) just to hear something; they also come to see something. i hope that we can create an experience that's totally different from what people have seen before.

around here, that shouldn't be hard.

so anyway, i've been giving cds of the band to a few people, and they genuinely seem to like it. ahh, okay, actually, i've only given them to two people (not counting the band) and only one of them has expressed any opinion. she, though, really likes it. this is particularly significant because i like her.

hehe. it makes me feel like a high schooler to say "like" in such a way. i'm "in like".

i'm going to tell you more about her, but that's for an upcoming entry where i'll go into more depth. it's sitting on my desktop in a file named "ava and cora.txt", and i just wrote in it a little while ago.

this is such an extensive subject, though, that maybe i should use more than one entry. well, we'll see. for now, i believe i'm done with this one. goodnight.
